To keep the voting process straightforward, the entire $335 million proposal will appear as one single proposition on the ballot. McAllen ISD is aware of a message on social media that makes a threat toward McAllen High & Travis Middle School. Although McAllen ISD police consider this message to be non-credible, all threats are taken seriously. We will take all steps necessary to ensure the safety of students & staff at all our schools. Our police are working with other law enforcement agencies to ensure everyone’s safety. In addition, officers are stationed each day at every campus. We will continue to post updates as needed. Please take a moment to speak with your child about the importance of reporting something suspicious to a responsible adult. Parents can also check their child’s backpack for anything inappropriate.
