Huge shoutout to our district-wide Culinary Arts @ProStartProgram team! This weekend, they traveled to Waco for the State Competition — the first-ever culinary team from McAllen ISD to compete at this level! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 We had two culinary teams and one mixology contestant proudly representing us — including 3 Rowe Warriors: Amanda Garza, Alyson Jackson and Javier Reyes Along with competition our students had an unforgettable experience meeting and networking with leaders from the Texas Restaurant Association, Cane’s, and Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza! 🍕🍗 We are so proud of their passion, professionalism, and Warrior pride! 💛💚

💪 Please help us congratulate our amazing student-athletes on their accomplishments at the Girls State Powerlifting Meet in Edinburg and the Boys State Powerlifting Meet in Abilene over Spring Break! 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️ GIRLS TEAM RESULTS: 🏅 Isabela Garza – 5th Place 🏅 Andrea Gutierrez – 6th Place, New School Records: Bench (220), Deadlift (365) 🏅 Genesis Vazquez – 9th Place, New School Records: Bench (190), Total (780) BOYS TEAM RESULT: 🏅 Sebastian Islas – 14th Place 📚 We are also proud to announce several of our lifters were recognized for their academic excellence as members of the Academic All-State Team: ✨ Elite Team: Cadance Aguilar, Aubry Castro, Isabela Garza, Emily Gorman, Amorette Restrepo ✨ 1st Team: Andrea Gutierrez, Savannah Solis, Aleks Suarez 👏 This wraps up an incredible powerlifting season! We are so proud of our athletes’ strength, discipline, and determination both on the platform and in the classroom. 💛🖤

APRIL TSI CALENDAR! 💻🌻🌷

On February 28th, our SkillsUSA Law Enforcement students demonstrated remarkable dedication and skill at the competition, and we couldn't be prouder! All their poster boards and 3D models advanced to state. Highlights include CSI team winning 1st place, CERT team 1 securing 2nd place, CERT team 2 achieving 3rd place, and building search team placing 2nd overall. This success reflects the hard work and commitment of our students and sponsors. Congratulations to all! 🏆 #WarriorPride

Congratulations to all our athletes who competed in this weekend's Meet of Champions. #WarriorPride Hailey Gonzalez, finishing 3rd overall in the 200m dash! Our 4x400m relay team of Hailey, Jocelyn Garcia, Rosario Chapa, and Angelina Saenz ran a season-best 4:08.62, securing 6th place! Jackie Garcia represented our distance squad in both the 3200m and 1600m. Qualifying team: 4x200m relay team of Aubrey Chapa, Izabella Garza, Jocelyn Garcia, and Hailey Gonzalez! Great job, Ladies! On to District! 🏃‍♀️
